We explore the hidden treasures of the Sacred Valley, a place of unparalleled beauty and historical richness. We will begin our journey in Chinchero, a picturesque village renowned for its textile traditions and colonial church built on the foundations of an important Inca site. Next, we’ll head to Moray, an agricultural complex of circular terraces that served as a natural laboratory for cultivation during the Inca era. Our journey continues to the Salt Mines of Maras, a unique landscape with over 3,000 terraced salt pools used since pre-Inca times. In Ollantaytambo, an ancient urban and military center, we will explore its impressive terraces and Temple of the Warriors. Finally, we will visit Pisac, known for its artisan market and awe-inspiring ruins that narrate the story of the Incas in this sacred valley. Each site offers a vivid testimony to the Incas’ connection with nature and their ancestral wisdom.
