We will begin the tour with a hotel pickup at 7:50 am to head to our first destination: Q’ente Q’entiyoq, a majestic Incan archaeological site in the shape of a hummingbird. This little-known, mystical site stands out for its agricultural terraces and unique architecture, representing this iconic bird. During the visit, we will explore the terraces and surrounding area while sharing the history and spiritual significance of this site for the ancient Incas, connecting you with nature and Andean worldview.
We will continue our journey to Killarumiyoq, an impressive ceremonial center dedicated to the moon. Here, you will admire unique rock carvings representing the moon, a sacred symbol in the Andean worldview. This site was an important space for worship and connection with the stars, surrounded by a spectacular landscape of mountains and fields. During the visit, you will discover the relevance of the moon in agricultural practices, spiritual beliefs, and the Inca calendar.
