Most of the itinerary includes moderate walks, but the Humantay Lagoon and Rainbow Mountain hikes require good physical condition due to their high altitude. If you’re not used to hiking at elevation, we suggest choosing the Humantay Lagoon, which is less demanding.

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing for both warm and cool weather, sturdy walking shoes, a rain jacket, sunscreen, a hat, and a refillable water bottle. For Machu Picchu and high-altitude hikes, layered clothing is ideal.

Yes, upgrades are available for both train tickets and hotel accommodations. We recommend requesting them in advance to ensure availability and get the best options for your trip.
